How do you do 'Jobs' ($100 Burger) and What is Side Skid?

Featured Replies

Two questions, completely unrelated:#1 - I can do Aerocache, Missions, and Challenges but can't seem to find where to do jobs - like the $100 burger that's been referenced. Have I just not unlocked it yet?#2 - In the landing challenges, one thing that is measured is "Side Skid" - what is that talking about?TY

1. CLick on an airport on the map: you will get a screen with all the information about the airport and at the top right there is a button called (something like) 'jobs'.2. Afaik: when you land straight and dead ahead you will have no side skid. When you have turned the nose of the plane almost sideways due to wind and land in that postion you will have a lot of side skid,

2: On crosswind approaches, I would say they mean a side force on the undercarriage when the wheels touch down... that you didn't de-crab, or reduce the angle the nose was pointing with the centre line of the runway to zero on touchdown.Andrew
