All,I love flight sims, all flight sims because they are all different and may offer items that the others don't. Since the early eighties I'd be scared to see how much $$$ I've invested in FS'ing. So again, I am not ripping on Flight. But, I will stand by my opinion that Flight IS indeed an arcadey game, at the moment. Let's see...free release, payment required for islands and aircraft (for ONE geographic area), cutesy characters, etc. This reeks of console and casual gamers.Yes, it looks nice, but I ask...what does the future hold? I'd be excited if MS laid out a little bit of their game plan for the future, and we saw that the world was going to be released, with accurate flight systems. But outside of some hints within the game, I've not heard of any master plan. I'd be totally on board if I heard from MS that this is the next generation of FS'ing for hardcore simmers. So, it's just seeming to me (my opinion) that this is kind of an end of an era. We'd all look forward to the next generation of dimming every few years, but I'm not sure Flight is it. We will see though...holding out hope! So, it looks like the PC is going back in storage until we get more news. Back to the iMac and Xplane10 (which is not perfect either LOL).Looking forward to keeping track of updates here at Avsim!Bob
