A comment from an 'observer'... one who has no stake, issues or interest in or with Microsoft Flight, or animosity towards the designers or parent entity of the product, nor to anyone who has used or is using Flight presently. To be honest, someone who participated in the previous iteration of this Forum; sometimes sarcastically, sometimesarrogantly, sometimes ignorant of the facts, feelings and experiences of fellow posters, and sometimes, normally. It's been 4¼ days since MS Flight was released to the masses, and since this Forum was 'reborn', so to speak. This Forum, like MS Flight, is like a maturing infant; going through teething pains, 'the terrible twos', slowly evolving. After a time, things will settle down and this Forum will become just like the other Forums on this site... with its own identity, 'frequent flyers',and its own tone.Just looking at the threads being posted the last few days, there seem to be more and more that are specific to the installation, operation andfeatures of the software... just like a 'version specific' Forum looks like anywhere else, including here. The purely 'anti Flight' threads are starting to decline slowly and move to other venues; that could also be due to the 'elevated' monitoring of thisForum by the Moderators, and the removal or editing of threads and posts by same. The ones that remain are spirited in nature, but far from theend results of this Forum's previous incarnation. As long as the moderation is fair, balanced and free of personal bias then this Forum will one day be another place in the FS world where enthusiastsof Flight can come and find the answers to their questions and discuss the relevant topics about the software.Again... just an observation from a minor figure in this grand escapade we call FS.

Thank you for that very encouraging post. It gives me hope that we can all see our way through this to better days. AVSIM is a great institution with a long history of getting it right the vast majority of the time.Kind regards,

Very well written Viper.Within a couple of weeks I can see this forum blossoming with talk of DLC,helpful tips to newcomers and trobleshooting/performance threads.Seems to be a lot of people young and old, veterans and virgins who are embracing Flight in this Forum now.I think we all want the same thing in the end, for Flight to grow into something enjoyable for simmers and gamers alike.Think there has been enough heated and over the top discussions pre release.Again thanks Viper, hope everyone reads your post.
