March 5, 201214 yr For me, turning up the sharpness option significantly reduces autogen shimmer. However, it also adversly affects frame-rates and results in jerkiness.I am getting the best results with everything on low except for sharpness which I have set to medium. My GPU is an ATI Radeon HD 5450. (Not up to the job I guess).
March 5, 201214 yr Hi,I just want to confirm nbz's findings regarding supersamplign artifacts. I don't get them at all because I have my weather set to medium, so I can use 32xS supersampling and multisampling on my setup without problems. But it looks like at this stage if you want to eliminate all jaggies and shimmer using supersampling then you are stuck with setting the weather to medium only (at least with Nvidia cards).
