March 4, 201214 yr Hi,Ok I've fresh installed Flight twice now and still get this message when I try and start it:'Games for Windows-LIVE failed to initialize.Another Games for Windows-LIVE title may be running, or your product installation may be corrupted.You may need to repair or reinstall Microsoft Flight. (8007013D)#####?!!! I'm running XP on a current spec computer with DSL.FSX runs fine with all the best addons including PMDG 737, X-Plane 9 and 10 no problems.DCS A-10C Warthog no problems.I play iRacing and Rfactor in online racing leagues no problems, run a sophisticated DAW no problems.My computer is rock solid reliable and set up perfect for my applications.I have turned on all processes I had turned off, still no joy.I would like to try Microsofts new game, but am not going to ruin a perfectly stable system that runs all other flight sims and online racing games perfect, just to get this running.I can't believe this.Anyone else get this error message?Chris Chris Strobel KSNA

March 4, 201214 yr Moderator The error has nothing to do with anything other than Flight and Microsoft LIVE. Uninstalling it will NOT affect any of your FSX and assorted stuff.Follow these instructions to clean out the corrupted installation, and try again:http://forum.avsim.net/tutorials/article/22-uninstall-flight-completely/ Fr.
