March 4, 201214 yr Hi,I am planning to buy a brand new computer and I'm currently wondering if I will get good FPS on a particular system I have sumbled over quite often during my search. The system specs are as follows: AMD FX-Series FX-4100 4 x 3600 MHz 8192 MB DDR3 PC-1333 NVIDIA Geforce GTX 550 Ti 2048 MB, DirectX 11 750 GB SATA II Is that CPU comparable to an i7 quad core? So, will I get good FPS on exactly that system when I use REX, any airport addon and the PMDG 737NGX or the Captain Sim 757?

By a lot.I wouldn't go as far as recommending to avoid the AMD system, but it's not a good system to buy specifically for FSX. Try the hardware forums a few forums down. You'll find your answer, and then some.
