March 4, 201214 yr Hey guys,So far AS2012 has been a blast to have and use, but I've encountered a visual issue and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered it as well.When using AS2012 to apply light precip (drizzle, -snow, -rain, etc) at very light settings the precipitation will appear then disappear on and off in 3-5 second cycles. The runway/taxi-way texture changes with it (from a darker contrast caused by the wet-surface effect to the default dry effect). In effect I get precipitation that goes in and out, off and on every 4 seconds. I wouldn't mind it if it didn't make the runway/taxi-way textures switch between wet/dry with it.Has anyone else encountered this issue? I hit it today using VATSIM weather at KORD this morning, 11AM Local (1700Z?). Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
March 7, 201214 yr I saw this also during last flight. Occured for several minutes and then precip became constant. Don't know what to think of it.Ken Boardman Ken Boardman
