Help With Standard XML Edit Please

Featured Replies

Hi: I know there is a post on this already, but I am confused (not unusual)...Here is the section from my Standard XML file relarted to the trim adjustment...I want to make the changes necessary to reduce the trim effect, but my file doesn't look like the ones I have been seeing on the Forum:<Entry> <Key>SHIFT+VK_DOWN</Key> <Down> <EventName>FlightControls.PitchTrimUpIncrement</EventName> </Down> </Entry> <Entry> <Key>SHIFT+VK_UP</Key> <Down> <EventName>FlightControls.PitchTrimDownIncrement</EventName> </Down> </Entry>Can some kind soul tell me what corrections I need to make to this file section to reduce my trim effect? Thanks a lot,Steve in Kansas

Your post is showing the Keyboard assignments.Look further down the file for your Joystick assignments:Find: .FlightControls.PitchTrimUpIncrement and FlightControls.TrimDownIncrementand under each of them is the “repeat” line with a 32.0000 value. Tthat is the line you want to delete in both cases.Make a backup copy before you mess with the file
