March 6, 201214 yr Much as I'm REALLY beginning to enjoy Flight for VFR flying, the one thing I really miss is having my networked machine show me a constant moving map & airport layouts etcDo we think this kind of thing is likely for Flight?Cheers Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
March 6, 201214 yr Well MS has partnered with Jeppesen, and some of us suggested this during the beta, so I surely hope they do it.Even if they charge a fee for the charts. (Something like the Jeppesen iPad app, but cheaper as this is a game). It would also give our 2nd or 3th monitor something to do. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 6, 201214 yr I wonder if Peter Dowson will create a Flight version of Wide Client allowing such things as PlanG, RC4,REX, Active Sky etc to connect via a networked client. Perhaps MS will offer a Flight simconnect look alike with an SDK? Perhaps Peter and other developers have already decided the commercial barrier placed by MS is to much? Don't know and maybe these types of add ons are beyond the scope for Flight's target demographic. Bob Bob Prince
March 6, 201214 yr An FSUIPC or WideFS or any other gizmo that connects Flight to the outside world (even as a DLC package) would be welcomed and greatly appreciated. (Also suggested during the beta)If Peter Dawson and Enrico Schiratti come on board, it would even be better, much better. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member I think we will see more advanced features as Flight gets more advanced. This stuff wasent out day 1 for FSX and took years to develop. Kevin Miller 3D Artist and developer
