Offset the ground height view in FSX

Featured Replies

Hi all,I would like to know if there's a way to permanently offset the ground height view in FSX?I usually fly light General Aviation aircraft (Cessna 152, 172) and I find that the ground height is so low that I don't have an adequate view of the taxiways in order to see where I'm going.I've flown real C172, and I could clearly see the taxiway layout nearby, whereas in FSX it seems as if I'm looking from ground level! A pilot in a Cessna 172 is at the same height as an average sized pick-up truck.Thank you for any information.

It is the same with me being 6' tallTo raise the eye level just hit the Shift + Enter KeyTo lower the eye level just hit the Shift + Backspace keyWhen I sit in a 152 there is usually about 4 finger distance from the top of the dashboard and the horizon so I hit the Shift + Enter key about 3 or 4 times until it looks about the same.Cheers

It may also be helpful to move forward or backward. In this case use Ctrl + Enter and Ctrl + Backspace.
