March 7, 201214 yr I have 3 monitors. Center is dell u3011 running 2560x1600Other 2 monitors are 1680x1050 I think. When I run in full screen mode it blacks out my other 2 screens which I want to have up for web searches. If I run in window mode and drag it almost full screen it does what I want. Why is this?
March 7, 201214 yr Commercial Member What video card do you use? You MUST have minimum an ATI 5### series, or Nvidia 400+ series in SLI. You cant run Flight in full screen mode. You must run it in windowed mode and drag the window over all 3 screens. Kevin Miller 3D Artist and developer

March 7, 201214 yr No problem really. You were correct on the needing a single AMD 5000 series or higher, or two Nvidia GTX 500 Series or higher in SLI to do it correctly. There is also TripleHead2Go but I personally don't like that setup. With AMD you need to setup an Eyefniity Display group which essentially turns your monitor configuration into one large desktop spanning across all 3 (or 4, 5, or 6) monitors. Then any modern game will automatically give you the option to choose that resolution for your game play. In my case that's 6060x1080 (bezel compensation takes it up from 5760x1080).. FSX operated the same way in non-windowed fullscreen mode.I think where a lot of confusion is coming in here is how FSX and MSF handle windowed mode. With FSX you could just click the fullscreen icon button in the upper right of the title bar and the window would proportion itself out automatically to fill the screen.. But it was still technically a windowed mode and not true fullscreen gaming. (that's a whole other technical difference also) MSF doesn't have that option. In windowed mode yes you need to stretch it out manually as there is no automatic fullscreen "windowed" mode available. March 7, 201214 yr Author I am running dual 6950'sI only want to play game on center screen.I do not have any eyefinity configured.i want to use my 2 side screens for web surfing and viewing my hardware monitors.any other games i play just pop to full screen on center monitor. but this game does the same thing only it turns my side screens black as if there is no display input on them.
March 7, 201214 yr styckx, how does that 3 screen setup look when you're inside the cockpit? Post a picture of that setup viewing the RV-A6 if you can please ^^
