  1. Alright i'll bite. I saw the plane and i kinda feel that it is a natural plane to implement. Im thinking that we have Hawaii to fly on, and the Zero fits well in as a combatant to the P51 :D Now all we need is some dogfighting equipment.. Like a small circle in the HUD? 2 teams with 1 flying the P51 and the other the Zero. Keep a enemy plane in the circle for 3 seconds and its out of the game, and has to land. Hehehe. In all seriousness. I dont mind the Zero. The fact that it does not have a modelled cockpit will keep me from buying it. I will save that money for a aircombat game called World of Warplanes..So thats it. If you dont want to see more planes without modelled cockpits then dont buy it. Enjoy your flight :)
  2. Well, to make development go faster, stop sending emails to the Dev team. Time spent reading and answering emails equals less time for developing Flight.
  3. Yeah i know of that rudder trim, and have tried it. But i felt that the plane was turning way too much even with just 1%.. Maybe ill have to try that a bit more.
  4. And also, when lifting off, set your throttle to max while holding the brakes in. When the RPM is on top release the brakes and make sure you have some 20 to 30 percent flaps down to increase lift. This should get you off the runway faster than you can say chainsaw ^^Edit: Taking off is the correct term, not lifting off ^^
  5. Just some stuff i have been thinking about. The Maule seems to be very affected by propeller rotation. In level flight, to maintain a somewhat steady heading I have been using the fuel transfer system to balance the plane. Is this what you would do in real life with such an aircraft? or have i missed something important here? The RV-6A has a digital gauge that has three digits in it. Theres a switch on it but you cant click it. From what i can tell it is a temperature indicator but for what? There already is a temperature indicator for the engine oil.. Hmm cant think of anything else at the moment.
  6. Yeah, theres a setting for it in gameplay options... Reducing rotating propeller effects i think its called. Try that!
  7. So much negativity in one thread... Give Flight some time. In a year it will be THE most awesome simulator around. In the mean time i challenge all the neighsayers who hasnt bought the Hawaii pack to do so. Currently you guys are playing a demonstration, and treating it like a full game.
  8. I agree with the OP. have thought about this a few times myself.. +1 to you OP!
  9. When not wearing oxygen masks or sitting in a pressurized cockpit, you are likely to start feeling the effects of low oxygen levels above 12'000 feet. For simulation style gameplay, don't go higher than 10'000 feet. If you do, find a belt and start choking yourself ^^
  10. The Icon A5 in flight makes me seriously think about getting the licence and the plane..
  11. When a session is set to private the host must invite you over. Hawseyair, this sounds interesting. I'm a new guy at flying but I will fly in a realistic manner and use appropriate language on the mic.Gamertag: StarZtorm
  12. Yup, did them all in one go after challenge 2!
  13. Well i finally managed to get silver on the landing challenge. All the advices in this thread has been really helpful! What worked for me was setting the camera angle so that it was centered on the runway when the nose was pointing into the wind. Then right before touching down use the rudder to align with runway and touch down. Its called crabbing am i right? Ty guys!
  14. Really nice video, +1 to you op.
