You may have noticed a new side bar bit of content. This is the Quotes system which we hope will grow into a gallery of famous (and not so famous) quotes regarding aviation, flight simulation, personalities in both, and snippets of history that we all could share. Contributing a quote can be done by any registered user and we encourage you to submit your favorites and share them with the community. Simply click on the "View All Quotes" and you will be able to contribute your quote there. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks Tom, this is very good.History is an exceptional subject and quotes are nonetheless beauties when it comes to describing or envisioning something.I have several books on aviation (one a great QANTAS joke book, if I can find it). Maybe we can have a book list, in our profiles, or in the forums? The book I am thinking of when I wrote this is 'Charles Kingsford Smith and those Magnificent Men', by an author I don't agree with but is quite a legend in his own right, Peter Fitzsimons. His writing style is a modern keep you hooked style so it is less of a 'historical style' and more of a 'story point first person point of view' style........ http://www.peterfitzsimons.com.au/The book here : http://www.harpercollins.com.au/books/Charles-Kingsford-Smith-and-Those-Magnificent-Men-Peter-FitzSimons?isbn=9780732288198&HCHP=TB_Charles+Kingsford+Smith+and+Those+Magnificent+Men
