NGX crashes after loading a flight!

Featured Replies

Hi!I've got a problem, after I loaded a flight with the NGX the FSX crashes. This is only with the NGX so there aren't problems with other aircrafts. Here is the error log:Name of missapplication:Name der fehlerhaften Anwendung: fsx.exe, Version: 10.0.61472.0, Zeitstempel: 0x475e17d3Name of the fault module:Name des fehlerhaften Moduls: unknown, Version: 0.0.0.0, Zeitstempel: 0x00000000Exception code:Ausnahmecode: 0xc0000005Offset errorFehleroffset: 0x15611bf5ID of the fault process:ID des fehlerhaften Prozesses: 0x13c8Starttime of missapplication:Startzeit der fehlerhaften Anwendung: 0x01cd02bae2f1157dpath of missapplication:Pfad der fehlerhaften Anwendung: A:\Flight Simulator X\fsx.exepath of fault module:Pfad des fehlerhaften Moduls: unknownReport ID:Berichtskennung: 4725d696-6eae-11e1-af59-bc054303995fThanks for the help in advance,Greetings, Timon

Does this happen immediately after you've clicked the "Fly Now!" button? In my case it always crashes when I don't have the flap level in the up position. I can reproduce it every time, and still doesn't seem fixed in SP1c.

No, only after loading is completed...

Guys,Try running the latest beta of FSUIPC4 that's on Pete's forum - others reported that it fixes these crashes and the ones that can happen on exit. We're reasonably confident these aren't directly caused by us - all attempts to debug them with customers since release have failed. The crash says it's our dll but the debug info shows nothing. A bunch of them we've seen don't happen when certain cockpit hardware is unplugged from the system or if controls are set a certain way (ie gear and flaps up vs. down etc).Install both the 4.81 and the 4.811 from here:http://forum.simflig...pdated-modules/If it does also solve the startup one please let us know here.

Timon,What sim hardware do you have connected to your system? Anything with physical gear and flap handles etc? If so try either disconnecting those things completely or changing the position of levers and stuff - we've had other users who get a crash for instance when their gear handle is up instead of down. We don't understand why this happens, but I've definitely seen it.

I have the Saitek Pro Flight and Rudder System. Reinstalled all today, it works now. But when I close FSX, I get the same "fatal error" message. This time the faulting module is the PMDG_737NGX dll. But it works now; I can live with the error message after closing fsx ;)

Timon,That FSUIPC 4.811 beta version was reported to fix the crash on exit problem - do you still have it installed?

Also try and remove the d3d9.dll if you have it (enbseries) on my new grunty PC I get crashes every time after a few minutes and using the menus and the NGX. Not likey a fault of PMDG....just the the NGX is very heavy systems wise?Oh well, guess I can live without it :(

Yes, FSUIPC 4.811 beta is installed. I don't use enbseries :) Thanks for your support!

It works now! Aerosoft's new Frankfurt-Hahn included a fault file, but after updating to the newest version it works. Thank you so far!
