I would like to practice using the checklists and then finally a complete flow without actually flying just yet. Is it ok to do a prefight > end flight > then start anew and repeat that process to get the hang of it?

You can use the arrows to jump wherever you need to go. It should be able to pick up wherever.-stefan

Another thing to do thats useful, is go to somewhere like Edwards Air Force Base and program a big loop into the FMC. Then take off and practice using various flight commands with the FO like setting the altitude, speed, heading, flaps, etc. Then you have plenty of room to practice the landing flows and takeoff again.

Thanks for that, I will take the Edwards advice. I find that if I try to just jump in and learn on the fly (no pun intended) that I get frustrated, but that's just me.
