AI flight plans canecelled

Featured Replies

Hi simmers,Maybe a stupid question, but I could not find an answer to the following question in a search on the forum. It's about AI. I use FS2K2 and Activesky. Due to pressure changes I hear ATC cancel flightplans from AI because they are above or below their assigned altitude. Is this fixable? Can AI also change to the correct altitude compared to the pressure?Thanx,

Regards,

AI a/c already 'enroute' when you change the weather are going to suddenly find themselves at an incorrect altidude, because YOU have changed the barometric pressure from what it was when they "sprang into life."About 30 minutes after you've loaded real weather, the AI will stabilize using the new barometric pressure. Until then, expect to hear a lot of whay you've described... :)
