March 21, 201214 yr hello mate, first of all congratulations for your incredible work. i would like to add the igs app. for rwy 25 at LSGS (sion) in the airac, but i don´t know how to add it, can you dedicate some of your time to do that. I know lot of people talks about LOWI but the IGS app. to sion is incredible, descend from17000ft to 4120ft and then 7nm in visual with a left turn, the visual in a very narrow valley, the miss app req. to climb to17000ft......... perfect for the little 736.The SID and the STAR are implemented, only the IGS is missed.Charts can be found in the Switzerland Ivao Division and there is a wonderful scenery (payware) http://secure.simmarket.com/aerosoftflylogic-sion-x-(es_3869).phtml.Thanks in advance.Carlos C.
March 21, 201214 yr I am not m_sauce, but I will take a look. I meant to fly to Sion soon anyway.. --Peter Fabian

I have Sion from FlyLogic and the IGS signal is a bit to the right, about 0.1-0.15 deviation from LNAV line. I will have to investigate a bit, it is possible that the localizer antennae were moved slightly since FlyLogic scenery, as frequency is different.I have flown the approach successfully two times, once on IGS to the minima, then changing over to visual, going around, then flying the approach in LNAV/VNAV overlay mode to the final. More flighttesting to come, if you see CBA737 with STS/FLTCK on IVAO, you know I am playing with my approaches. --Peter Fabian
March 24, 201214 yr Hello,I have done some minor modifications and tried to fly the approach in IAN mode tonight.I found it took me unconfortably close to the mountains on two occasions, will have to investigate if, and how, IGS localizer makes terrain clearance.Made minor modifications to FlyLogic scenery, adjusted LOC and DME. Will have to investigate the fact that GP is placed away from airport, a bit higher than airport level, does it play any role.Still need to enhance range a bit, GS only reliable only about a mile past FAF, this is a problem.Apart from getting too close to the mountains, IAN can be flown down to 500ft AAL and will put you on 3,5deg g/s on short final, as of now.I might consider creating a tailored RNAV RNP approach that would lead over the valley, rather than Hohstock and Grosshorn.Further flight testing needed, for now.Oh, and by the way... Innsbruck is for little girls! --Peter Fabian
