March 23, 201214 yr Disclaimer - I posted this also on the UT2 support boards but no response as yet so figured I'd see if anyone here has run across this issue before.I went to assign an aircraft to a new database I had created and was surprised to find that I could only pick from two manufacturers - General Motors and NASA. Even more bizarre is that UT2 doesn't list any repaints for any aircraft when I select from, for example, the UT2 Weekly database. Here's an image for example:So the interface tells me I currently have no aircraft assigned to this equipment type, yet if I use the repaint export option and search for the equipment assigned to this carrier in the text file I see the following line:735|Boeing 737-500 pax|Continental Airlines|Continental Airlines|N|F1UT2_735.CO.COSo UT2 has a paint assigned but isn't showing it in the interface.Since the last time I opened up the repaints to assign an aircraft the only thing I think that could have affected this is I recently moved all of my aircraft to a separate drive to save space on my main one. My new fsx.cfg file reads:SimObjectPaths.0=F:\Aircraft\Default\AirplanesSimObjectPaths.1=F:\Aircraft\Default\RotorcraftSimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehiclesSimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\BoatsSimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\AnimalsSimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\MiscSimObjectPaths.6=F:\Aircraft\UT2 AircraftSimObjectPaths.7=F:\Aircraft\FreewareSimObjectPaths.8=F:\Aircraft\WOAISimObjectPaths.9=F:\Aircraft\MAIWSimObjectPaths.10=F:\Aircraft\PaywareAll my aircraft load up fine in FSX and I'm currently working on an airport that uses the MAIW aircraft and they are all displaying fine as well.Any help would be appreciated thanks! March 23, 201214 yr Drew, I am not an expert, and copied this from someone else, so here goes in the hopes that this might help:1-Create a folder called AI in your simobjects folder, and put all AI aircraft in it, and yes I mean the aircraft folders individually, not the WOAI or MAIW or Payware.2-Delete 7 through 10 in your config file, and list only SimObjectPaths.7=SimObjectsAI3- Make sure you do not have a double entry for UT2, as it may have created its own config listing lower down under the MAIN folder. You should be able to see all aircraft, and then go through the Loooong Drawn out process of assigning repaints for every aircraft.I hope this helps.Good Luck. March 23, 201214 yr Author Thx Waleed but I figured it out with some help from the UT2 folks after all. Turns out UT2 simply doesn't like you moving your aircraft out of the default folder, which is a shame. So I'm just moving back the ones I need for assigning and then putting them back on the other drive. Maybe they'll address it in an update. Drew Sikora Staff Blog Founder/Designer, MSE Airports
