IDLE SPEED / F2004

Featured Replies

Hi All, I think I saw this before but never saw the end results... can anything be done about trying to set on the runway or in the park position without the aircraft running away with it self. Thanks TONY

Yes...You have to hit the F2 key a tap or two after you have your throttle control set at idle. This puts you in the 'beta' range. Unfortunately most game contollers will not reduce your throttle all the way down and so you have to use the F2 key. And you do know that you can also use the parking brake to keep from moving don't you :)

The above reply answers your question. I'll add that in RL GA aircraft even low rpm's can pull your airplane forward slowly, especially if you are on a slight grade.:)
