First post here. But I've been a troll for going on 4 years. When I start FS9 it is saying"aircraft initialization error SGA DC-10-30" Then it locks up FS at the splash screen and shuts it down. It never opens FS past the splash screen.I've removed the aircraft from the aircraft folder but it does no good. This was not a new aircraft that I just put it either. It's been running fine with the SGA DC-10 for weeks. Now its having issues for seemingly no reason.Any ideas? It was working fine until 2 days ago it just decided to give me trouble. Thanks for any opinions,Clayton

Try deleting the FS9.cfg file and let FS rebuild it on the next time you start the sim.It will mean having to reset your various scenery options after FS has started but it maybe that FS is reading something in the .cfg that is preventing it from starting.Dave

Before deleting the FS9.cfg, which should always be the last resort...Simply delete thePrevious flight.FLT file. This will allow FS9 to start, and allow you to reselect a flight.

There may also be an issue where the startup flight was saved with the aircraft in question in it, which will create the error regardless of whether the previous FLT flight file is deleted. There are two ways to get around that--one is to edit the FS9.cfg and put one of the default FLT files in as a reference. The other, more elegant way is to edit the startup FLT file (referenced in the FS9.cfg) directly and replace the aircraft referenced in it with something else.-John

When the starter is cranking, try pumping the gas pedal, or even have someone push from behind to see if you can get it going... let me know if that does anything for ya ;)
