Hello,Everyone I can't decided.I want connect 3 monitors size 21.5" and I wanna know what is the best option for me...for FPS.I really have a limited budget.This is my system.i5 2500k 3.3GHz [email protected] Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHzASUS 560Ti DCII Top 900MHz 1.buy AMD HD7870 for eyefinity. 2.buy another one GTX560TiTop for nVidia Surround and It's not necessary to use the same card for do this?? Can i use GTX560Ti or 550Ti or 560ti another band with my old card??I'm sorry if this question is boring.But really need help.Thank you for any advise i will appreciate that.

Get one of the new 6xx nvidia cards.. it was relased just last week.. so its difficult to come by, but I am sure in the upcoming weeks, you'll be able to get a 6series cardManny

Hey guy. Thanks you for your advice. I really like nVidia card but when I think twice. I don't have enough money.So..I got the new HD7870 on Yesterday and 3 23" monitors.Performance it OK. FPS Good.But have a little problem with clouds,But it doesn't distract me.And I also want to try the new HD7870.Just wanna know how is it gonna be...Haha@AliB I'm surprise.!! Yeah, clouds is a problem with ATI/AMD.Bangkok, been there many times, checking out the hardware at Panthip, Fortune, MBK, Zeer Rangsit etc. B)

How severe is the clouds issue with the HD7870? I have a similar CPU than you have ( i5-2500k @ 4.2 GHz), and want to upgrade my dated ATI Radeon 5770 1GB . At the moment, my frames are okay (most planes give me 20-35 FPS - Frames externaly locked to 35 FPS), but when I get lots of clouds, it could go down to 9-12 FPS, which is a huge hit. I use the main monitor (22" 1680 x 1050) for FSX, and a smaller 17" for a flightplaner, browser, etc.

I was thinking of getting an Nvidia card, but they eat lots of power.

 

So my next choice would be an ATI/AMD 7850 / 7870 with 2GB. They consume less power than similar nVideas but seem to be equally good with GPU-power. That's why I'm curious how big the impact of clouds is.
