March 28, 201214 yr WW1 Top Gun: Revealed was a show broadcast by the UK's Channel 5 on Tuesday last, so I expect many here won't have seen it, being from outside the UK. It was basically about the competitive development of aircraft during WW1 between Britain & Germany, and was fascinating for anyone interested in vintage planes. Sadly it isn't available as an online re-run (rights issues, I'd guess).The best thing about it though, was the appearance and flight of planes built and/or renovated by the New Zealand company called The Vintage Aviator, of whom I'd never heard before this...http://thevintageaviator.co.nz/They build reproductions from scratch, using genuine parts if obtainable. They've a website full of content, and well worth a visit if like me you were unaware of them.
