March 30, 201214 yr Hey guys I need your help with something. For so long I think so many of us have been looking for a great A319, A320, or A321. Well I need to find what is the most technologically accurate A320 currently on the market. I have Airbus X and it is nice looking but far from realistic when it comes to systems.Price is not important. I just need an A320 that can at least interact with a correctly working FMC interface. Functionality is most important so if the model happens to be slightly less that's fine. Any help at all is appreciated.Nathan Nathan Cupps, VZAB Instructor

There are different realism levels, OKAY visuals, a full FMC with SID's and STARS, and much more. Check out my youtube for some Wilco videos. Ben B. March 30, 201214 yr If you want to in the mean time, go for the Wilco Airbus Evolution series, but keep in mind that the Flightsim Labs A320 is in development and seems to be pretty far along. Shane Gavin
March 30, 201214 yr As others have said, the Wilco one is the best one available for Flight Simulator. It is not completely accurate as far as systems operations go in terms of functionality or ethos, but unless you happened to be quite familiar with how the underlying systems on an A320 actually work, then you might imagine it was spot on since it does have a reasonably okay stab at things. The plus point is that it will at least make you operate the aircraft in an Airbus-like manner as opposed to the typical procedures in for example, a Boeing 737 NG.If you are curious about where it is different from a real A320, the gist of it is that on the real thing, there tends to be far more ECAM cross-checking done by the pilots when one is operated, because there is a bit more 'filling in of boxes' in the system to set up a flight than is portrayed in the Wilco version, thus more automated operation goes on, which means the ECAM gets monitored a lot more during the flight to ensure that it is doing what it is supposed to. Nevertheless, stuff like the mode control panel in the Wilco A320 does get you used to the operationally different ethos of Airbus switchology, and engine operation is also fairly well done too, so it does manage to make you feel quite like you are driving an Airbus in the way they are really operated in spite of its shortcomings. The only very accurate Airbus for FS at the moment, is the Simcheck A300, and truly excellent though it is, that's not a FBW aircraft. It does have a good representation of the flight management system which the A300-B models had, although that system is nothing like the one on stuff like the A320, and it being the only Airbus with a traditional central yoke, it is not really what most people would regard as a 'modern Airbus'. The good news is that one of the developers who worked on the SimCheck A300, is now with the FSL team, and FSL is overseen by ex PMDG staff, which means FSL has a peerless pedigree, and it was FSL which made a very good simulated Concorde for FSX. All of that points to the notion that the FSL A320 will probably be a stunningly good simulation that will doubtless eclipse the Wilco one when it is released. But in the meantime, the Wilco one is the best we have for systems emulation.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
