April 1, 201214 yr This maybe a dumb question, I'm simply asking to see if there is a easier wy to uninstall in order to install a better scenery I have beenn reccomended,I have installed Toni Agramonts' Madeira scenery for FSX...He says in his intructions to unzip and pur all the Bgl's in the Addon\cenery Folder and All BMP's in the Addon\scenery Texture folder.I have found a better scenery set for Funchal which I'd like to install intead. My question is I don't want to clogg up my sim...And would like to delete Tonis' scenery before i install the new one. NO uninstaller is provided with his scenery...So does this absolutely mean Ihave to delete all the BGL'S and BMP'S one at a time? Until they are all gone?Or is there a way to regenerate the scenery to original state without having to go through this process?Berlopez
April 1, 201214 yr Should just be able to untick it in the scenery library, then you could delete the files or leave them there, either way FS wouldn't load them.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
April 1, 201214 yr Author Al Thanks for your reply, If only it were as easy as this?Tonis' intructions as I fallowed them were to unzip the original .zip which would then open, containing two zips (Scenery) & (Texture)Unzip both to temp folders. Then to move these to theire corresponding folders in addon Scenery and texture folders...So they spread in there...I can yet identify which are which BGL'S & BMP'S and eventually delete them one by one...I was just trying to avoid this, because it's a pain. :Thinking:There is no folder in the Scenery Library as no folder was created to add the scenery via it...
