Is This The Right One?

Featured Replies

I am running ORBX now and fly mostly in the PNW, but I was using both GEX and UTX. I found that UTX offered a decent landclass but lacked in the urban areas, but did well for the city if I remember correctly. There is 4 or 5 landclass addons out there. Have you searched the forums for "landclass" ? If not, please do as I believe you may have a lot of reading if you want to. Quite a few discussions concerning what you are after.

A mix between SceneryTech and UTX USA should be fine the first for general aspect and the second for city.

NP, another gentleman talked about SceneryTech so check that out also. Sometimes it is difficult with add-on scenery and landclass to figure out what the priority level should be in the scenery library. So, with that in mind, again, there are many here who can help you with that aspect when you get ready.

Yea, there seems to be quite a few land classes available out there by different companies... all for quite different prices... hard to determine which to get... :) Until I figure that out however, I went with REX 2.0 and already have GEX installed... :P

Yep, you will need to let your fingers to the walking. Or today it is your eyes. You will get the proverbial it's great and it's not great. You will need to do some searching. Also, it is worthwhile to get on the manufacturers forum if they have one. Many times you will find the negatives and complaints, and of course some KUDOS from some.
