Can anyone help with this problem I have encountered with water textures. I had installed Active Sky 2012 when I noticed odd looking wave textures. Realising I had installed FSWC in the past I decided to remove FSWC and deinstalled it using the contol panel. After doing this any water displayed as a flat pale blue image ( see attached jpg ). I have tried deinstalling and reinstalling Active Sky but no change!!!

 

Any suggestions as what to try next would be much appreciated.

Delete your Shaders directory (FSX will rebuild it).

Thanks for the prompt reply. I deleted ShadersHLSL (after making a backup) but when FSX started it didn't create a new one and no image appeared in the aircraft window. However I had noted that something had created a backup folder called OLDShadersHLSL. I renamed this one and now things seem to be working OK.
