quick question. It is true that landing lights are to be turned on/off above or below 10,000ft. Am i right in saying that this also applys to strobes?

If so why doesnt the F/O turn on/off strobes when he does the landing lights above or below 10,000ft

every video/film ive seen the strobes are turned off above10,000ft

No, strobes are turned on entering the departure runway and left on for the entire flight until clearing the arrival runway.

ok i must have got it badly wrong all these years...
