April 6, 201214 yr Thought I would share this video of a brand new DC10 series 30 ZK-NZR being rolled out at Long Beach circa 1974. It was the DC10 that started my interest in aviation, and even today it captures my imagination. It's sleek, powerful shape is a head turner even today. One of the reasons the PMDG MD11 has pride of parking in my hangar. And it was the DC10 which was used on the first cut priced airline ( Laker) Enjoy this step back in time. Please Note: This is Not ZK-NZP, that was involved in the Erebus disaster, There is a short sighted individual on youtube who thinks it is. Out of respect for the victims, I made sure it was not before posting.
