April 11, 200422 yr 1. I am receiving a tone followed by two beeps throughout a flight that lasted about an hour. I can't figure out how to turn it off.2. The throttles will not increse or decrease in sinc even if I press E followed by 1 & 2 which should sinc the throttle movement. If auto throuttle is on, the two engines do sinc as the power is increased or decreased.Any ideas? Thanks, Ron
April 11, 200422 yr 1. Sounds like the master caution warning. Any red or yellow lights? Did you set the pressurisation controls, that would set them off.2. No idea, sorry.Hope this helps,Ian

If auto throuttle is on, the two engines do sinc as>the power is increased or decreased.I had this happen on one aircraft but I can't remember which one. I had hit the "E" key accidently and after that the engines wouldn't sync even after E+1+2. Switching to the Baron, hitting E+1+2 to get the Baron to sync then switching back to the "other plane" fixed the problem. Hope this helps.I agree with the other poster on item 1.
April 12, 200422 yr Yep, it also seems to me the pressurization. Make sure to set your cruise altitude plus 1000 ft and the baro (everything in the overhead panel). Also set the climbing rate for pressure (usually between 400 and 600 ft.) Then, open the pedestal and open the pressure valve in order to start pressurization.Oh, I forgot: also set to Primary (I can
April 12, 200422 yr Greetings, Ron.The Iron Knuckles DC9 is definitely one aircraft where you should read the PDF manual before flying. I admit, it is a bit of a pain in the butt for the more casual flyer (like myself), but you'll be glad you did. Those warning beeps are on because your cabin is not pressurized. - Matt D.
