April 6, 201214 yr Hi, Is it normal "behaviour" that arming the spoilers when on the ground you get full deployement? Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
April 7, 201214 yr I should think that is likely on a lot of aircraft, since the trigger for deploying spoilers when in the armed position, is often a switch in the undercarriage system which detects when thee is weight on the wheels. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
April 7, 201214 yr Author i know about the air/ground sensing systems, but didn't realize that it was programmed in flightsimulator. Found out coincidentally by programming failures for the spoiler system. The first question was a little bit wrong. I mean, this is happening: when on the ground, power on, spoilers not armed, when moving the spoiler handle between 25 and 34 % , the spoilers become armed and deploy immediatally 100 %. The only way to get them down again is by giving the command "spoilers_off. So i had to program something to avoid that action. Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
April 7, 201214 yr Author Thanks for the confirmation. I don't use the keys/events on code, but another small piece of xml. Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
