April 8, 201214 yr So, here's another little DIY on the TQ, since the previous position of the TQ (just left of the yoke) provided too high position, and I wasn't able to use the mouse properly. My goal with this was to achieve two things: Free access to the mouse, a more natural position of the levers while flying and most importantly, an easy removal (mostly onto the floor) so that I can move my chair normally. Obviously I wasn't aiming for the real thing, as for that I would probably need a column yoke, but I think this gives a nice cosy position while flying, where I'm able to rest my hand on the armachair while holding the throttle. If Paul reads this: I finally dared to go for spray-painting! I always thought its gonna make a mess in my cellar, but after I covered half of it with plastic covers, no biggie!! Some pics: Paul, your turn!
April 8, 201214 yr That looks realistic. I see that you kept both clamps on your desk. I also have one Saitek throttle and planning on buying a second soon. Thanks, Kevin L
