April 9, 201214 yr Hi, I get a "dingdong" sound every 10 seconds at the end of the flight (after landing for example). I use the button control version. I saw the same problem in a post with the voice button version : http://forum.avsim.n...ery-10-seconds/ Windows 11 | i7-14700KF | DDR5-64Go | RTX-4070 Super | 1440p 32" curved screen | G903
April 9, 201214 yr If you have the latest version of FSUIPC, it is telling you you are getting low in VAS and FSX might OOM at any stage. It took me a while to figure it out what it was. I tested this over PNW a number of times. I found it great to have the warning, so I know to stay in the cockpit, no going to wing views, or external views, and I was able to land and finish the flight. April 10, 201214 yr Author 10/10 Julian : this ding/dong sound warns of a memory problem. I updated FSUIPC to v. 4.812 on March 2012. The documentation says nothing about that. This sound is useful (continue the end of the flight inside the cockpit or save/restart FSX). Is it possible to active/inactive this function ? April 10, 201214 yr Don't think so Edouard, does not seem to come with options. If you look at the FSUIPC.LOG you can see the low mem entries.
