OOM since SP1c

Featured Replies

Since I have installed the SP1c I get the "out of memory" error when flying the 737NGX. The weird thing is that fsx and the NGX just use about 2gb and I have got 8gb RAM.

Another thing I don't understand is that there are no performance problems there's just an error message coming up that the pc ran out of memory and I should check the graphics and scenerys.

It happens about after an hour or more of flying and I tested it with the SkySpirit2010 747-8 and there it is as smoth as with the NGX but I don't get the error.

(If it helps I've got an Asus N73SV Laptop with I7-2630QM and GeForce GT540M 1GB and 8GB RAM. Even BF3 hasn't got a problem :D )

OOM errors occur when the application (FSX) runs out of it's memory space, (nothing to do with the amount of on-board RAM available to

the OS
