April 12, 201214 yr Hi, My current FSX installation is a year and half old and has got incredibly messy, with add ons I don't use any more and things which don't work properly. I feel if I take it all off and give it a good clean up being more selective with the add ons I put back, it should do performance some good. It's also a good opportunity to move it off the SSD (which is shared with the OS) onto a dedicated hard drive which has far more space for add ons. My question is, I have REX installed on a seperate drive due to its size. Do I have to reinstall this too, or can I leave that and just point it to the new directory and cfg once I've got FSX back up and running? Thanks! April 12, 201214 yr I'm not quite sure but I see no need to reinstall REX. I mean, you actually just have to copy the textures from REX into FSX after the reinstallation and everything should be working again.
