My Traffic 2004 v 2.0

Featured Replies

I loaded this today and it is REALLY nice. If you have My Traffic 2004, v1.0 and it is already installed all you have toi do is go to:www.fsrail.com/MT2004U20a.zipand download this "update file" (MT2004V20UPDATE.exe).I had bought the update (vr 2.0 for 9 EURO) from SIMMARKET and downloaded 3 differant files, but none of the three files were used to make the actual update from vr 1.0 to vr 2.0. ???There is a password that is needed to "unlock" the update file from fsrail.com, but I cann't remember where I got it, sorry. I think it might have been from the fsrail.com address.I didn't see too much differance at the 1st few airports that I checked (KSFO and KSEA) but then I went to Barksdale AFB ( in northern Louisiana), KBAD, and was "blown away" by all of the military aircraft that was there. I have my "traffic" set to 51%.If you have anything other than My Traffic 2004 v 1.0 from SIMMARKET, it gets a little complicated, but it's well worth the effect.jerry

interesting! i purchased my traffic but was disapointed because the military aircraft were always at the commercial gates...so did they fix this? and how is the real traffic? realistic flights like cargo carriers and actual times? Ultimate Traffic is just amazing but it doesnt have military like mytraffic. too bad I cant use both!

Only looked real quick at KLAX and KSEA and then went straight to Barksdale AFB Louisiana ( KBAD). I really liked all of the military aircraft there. Have not flown again since then.jerry

Jerry - The files you see when purchasing the "update" are complete version 2 files, not just an update. You will get a full install from these files.Doug

Hi Guys, Saw this post and tried KBAD for military traffic in FS9. Just loaded full CD version of MyTraffic 2004 V2.0 two days ago. I see zero aircraft on the ground with 100% selected. Traffic looks great at all other airports but havn't seen any "Military" traffic yet. I must be doing something wrong and will continue working with it.......JayDub

I've got the same problem. No military traffic and very little GA traffic anywhere. I'm still working on it but if you find a solution please post it. (UT is winning right now...:-) ).Doug

April 30, 2004Just getting back to this forum. Are you guys still NOT seeing any traffic at KBAD? jerry

Jerry,I just went to KBAD and I see a massive amount of USAF traffic on the ground. My settings are at 60% traffic. So I don't understand why others are not seeing all the traffic on the ground. I like MT2K4 too because of the military traffic (I have UT too). I frequently hear ATC talking to USAF "heavy" traffic when flying. Once I heard ATC advise a military aircraft that they were 20000 ft above their assigned altitude. I figure this might have been a fighter jet as it would be difficult for a "heavy" to get out of whack like that. Happy flying!Jim Young
