I'm getting tired of the default C172... The C172N Carenado has looks excellent, but I really want a Skyhawk SP. I hope they consider this in future projects, and I understand that they have their hands full with the C90B release.

Have you looked at the Flight1 T182T? It has a nice G1000 set up.

I thought the Skyhawk SP came stock with a G1000? Specifically the GDU1040.
