April 13, 201214 yr Author To be honest, I don't exactly remember what motherboard I am using. But that actually doesn't matter anymore, that tool has helped alot. I'm now using an external fps limiter, and FSX now runs extremely well, even on the highest settings. Thanks for your help! But I've got one question left, do I always have to start FSX via that file created by the external fps limiter?

If you do, download Nvidia Inspector and open the FSX profile. Then, select the option for Vsync and set it to 1/2 refresh rate.
April 13, 201214 yr Author Already done this. But do I have to start FSX always via that file created by the external fps limiter?
