April 15, 201214 yr What's the trick to get the strobe lights to reflect off the pavement? I've seen it in lots of user videos, but I can't seem to get that effect for some reason. Scott

April 15, 201214 yr Author The last video I've just done at the blog has insane effects, watch the rotating red beacon in the javvy! Make sure you have hdr on. Actually your video was the one I saw before I posted. Haha! Anyway, I've tried HDR on, HDR off, all kinds of stuff. No luck for some reason. Scott
April 15, 201214 yr Hehe, I guessed so. What plane are u using? That might be the issue. Other than that, I'm stumped! Simmo W, Melbourne, Ozhttp://www.youtube.com/user/id5556
April 15, 201214 yr And what's your GPU and graphic driver ? With HDR you need a good GPU: http://developer.x-plane.com/2011/12/tips-for-better-frame-rates-pt-1/ Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
April 15, 201214 yr Author I'm using an Nvidia GTX 460 Superclocked Edition with the 295.73 driver. It appears that Simon was on the right track. I tested using the Carenado Bonanza, Carenado Mooney, and the default 747-400. No reflections. Then I switched to the default Baron and default Cessna 172 and the reflections were there. So I guess it does depend on the aircraft? Scott
