April 16, 201214 yr Greetings! I recently re-installed my registered version of FSUIPC v3.99 in FS9 (along with WideFS). My OS is Win 7 64bit Ultimate. I am using Radar Contact V4. The problems that I'm having is that the Adv Display window will not allow me to dock it, and once I close it, it pops back up after several seconds. There's probably a setting I'm missing FSUIPC or FS9, but I can't seem to figure it out. I did try a search on this topic in this forum. I got a lot of returns, but every link I clicked on in the google search window took me to a "Page not found" message. Regards, Scott KJMS Sorry about the multiple posts - I never got an indication that the post was successful. April 16, 201214 yr First off be sure the old advdisplay.dll has been renamed advdisplay.dlh to disable it. It is now contained entirely in FSUIPC as the transparent blue menu window including a status area. You should update FSUIPC from: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ I get back later with more.
April 16, 201214 yr Unless you have locked the fsuipc window in its miscellaneous tab you should be able to drag it into position. The position will be saved for your next loading of a saved flight file. Thus if you position it while parked at a gate for a tarting position and save that flight state the window should appear for that aircraft the next time you load that saved .flt file. Please search the fsuipc 3.99 manual for "dock" for some references. I don't think wideFS changes anything as the window appears in FS on your host where you would load the .flt file. I do not do a networked client so I can't verify that.
