April 16, 201214 yr Hi! I am using Active sky 2012, and since i reinstalled FSX my visibility goes from what i want (foggy at cruise)... or how to describe it... It stays like that for a couple of minutes... then all the clouds dissapear for a while, then the clouds reappear again... this is really annoying and it must be something I have forgot to set in FS... I have clicked "Clear weather options in FSUIPIC so I dont think thats the problem... any suggestions? Niklas Eriksson

May 5, 201214 yr I'v been getting similar symptoms. Flying along, visibility and clouds all looking good, then without warning - unlimited visibility and no clouds. I was over the English Channel near Ramsgate when it last happened and I could see all the way up to the lakes near Kingston upon Thames. The world looked nearly flat. Oddly the wind went to 000/0 and the temperature went to +15 at FL370. I fixed it by shutting down ActiveSky 2012 and reverting back to ASE. I'm cautious with AS12 nowadays, only using it on experimentation flights. For "important" flights like Vatsim flyins with expected ATC and traffic, I'm usually running ASE.
