  1. And: Published on Tuesday, 11 September 2012 09:03 Written by Admin We expect to have a public beta available within the next 30 days. How soon is "soon" for public beta?
  2. Can't wait for that too. Its already more 30 days. Hope to try out the beta soon.
  3. Hi this is good news from Joshua Jones: "I have been told by our developers that next week should be the official SP1 release. They have been closed testing it with beta testers now for the past several weeks."
  4. Yes but did you see any news about SP1 or next Beta update?
  5. Hi. Its been ages since the last update B4469 and we heard no news about the upcoming updates but only "is just around the corner" response. What is the latest build currently? Can the team please update customers about the status of the upcoming release? Thanks a lot!
  6. Hi. In ASE, there is a line we can add to the General Section of FSUIPC.ini called UseASEweather=Yes. Not sure if there is any for AS2012.
  7. I think u guys are using Standard Mode which nobody here has an answers to it^^
  8. Hello!!!! I'm sure either the developers or someone here will have an answer to that right?
  9. Yes this is what i meant. This is ONLY in Standard mode. Visibility is always clear around 5000-6000 feet. To keep it short and simple: Runway conflict means the landing (but not take-off) direction of the runway keeps changing. This only happens in DWC mode. However. ATC Wind lock is unrealistic as it wont update the present location. Whereas in Standard mode, landing direction is always constant. Bcos of these, I still prefer to use Standard mode. But I hope the visibilty issue will be solved.=)
  10. Yes my max visibility is 100 an 0 for min. Unlike in DWC, Standard mode visibility doesn't correspond to what is reported in AS2012. The good thing is that it does not result in runway conflict. So i was trying to understand if there is something left out in Standard mode, such as visibility or if is intended to be it or there's a limitation to what fsx can do.
  11. Hi. I find that Standard Mode is the best depiction mode for AS2012 as it give most accurate weather reading and without runway conflicts. However, the visibility is always clear when airborne despite the low visibility which is reported in AS2012 Build: 4469 unlike with DWC Mode. I don't use any suppression. Is there any answers to that? Thanks.
