April 16, 201214 yr The planes i have for FSX are the abacus Airbus A380 Collection V2. The wilco 777 Collection. Dreamliner Collection (787) Antonov's Particularly with the A380's & Antonov i can't seem to get a good ILS landing even though i carry out the EXACT same procedure as i do with the standard FSX aircraft. The standard FSX aircraft land beautifully thanks to this guide: http://www.fsx.co.za/showthread.php?t=1843 But when i do this guide to other planes such as A380 & Antonov the approach to landing doesnt look good at all witht he nose pointed far down and not flying as wqell as the 787 and 747 do! Regarding the 777 it seems to have a different layout to the controls so i havnt yet been able to achieve and ILS landing with that... all i achieve is crashing into trees! So i was wondering if anyone has any experiencing landing the 777 with ILS successfully? someone has actually already helped me here with Antonov but it sitll seems to point downwars with the nose. Dreamliner seems a little better. I'm just wonering if maybe the A380 has a control im not seeing which i should be pressing in order to keep the plane level. Also i was wondering if anybody could point me to a guide for an ILS landing for those planes which dont actually have GPS. For example the PMDG 737 Series.... Thanks guys.
April 16, 201214 yr Not all planes have autoland capability - most don't in FSX... I'm suprised you were able to use default with autoland... Suggest you start with something simple and learn how the ILS works... Here's a link: http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/ P.s. The NGX has a more powerful form of GPS vs default stuff...you need to read the manual because an ILS has NOTHING to do with GPS. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
