Where has my aircraft gone?

Featured Replies

When I press key E to exit the aircraft and then save my flight then on loading the saved flight I find that I am standing at the correct location but the aircraft is nowhere in site! Is this normal or is it a bug?

It might have rolled away on a hill, or if you left the engine running.....

If it was on water, the tides could have got it, or in a storm it might even blow away!

Start from a new airport and it will be back.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

This is normal. Although I understand the confusion. When you exit the plane YOU have become the plane, so to speak, so when you load the flight the game only loads YOU. The plane didn't roll away or anything. It's just a limitation of the walk around mode...

Haha, I made sure that I switched the engine off and set the parking break :Just Kidding:

Many thanks for the clarification. I hope that this can be changed in the future as starting from outside the aircraft is more normal in real life.
