April 22, 200422 yr I have recently found the BlueSphere project for clouds.I have installed Chris Willis clouds improvement for FS2004.Is there any problem having both clouds product installed together or is this an overkill from my part ?Roger Potie Roger See my specs in my profile
April 22, 200422 yr Greetings, Roger. From my understanding, all of the Bluesphere replacement textures are designed to improve the look and only the look of the sim. I haven't seen any references to Bluesphere textures supposedly improving framerates. Whereas, Chris Willis' replacement cloud textures are specifically designed to improve framerates at the expense of some visual quality. So I guess the question you'd have to ask yourself is: do I want better framerates or better looks? And then go with the set that suits you. Hope this helps. - Matt Duren

Some would say, myself included, that they look better than the defaults.MikeP4 2.4GHz (400FSB), 1Gig PC2100 DDR Crucial, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB (Omega 2.5.36a), Hyundai ImageQuest Q17 17" Monitor (1280x1024x32), Gigabyte GA-8IRXP MoBo, Ultra-Quiet PSU 400W, WinXP Home (SP1), DirectX 9.0b, AGP Aperture = 128MB

So install the Bluesphere first, then the clouds and you're set.Allcott
April 22, 200422 yr Yeah, I think that Bluesphere replaces some of Chris Willis clouds, so after you install Bluesphere you'd better reinstall CSW clouds on top of it! (BTW, The bluesphere textures are really astonishing! :-))rgrds/fredrik granfors
