April 22, 200422 yr I always get VFR ATC when I fly unless I create a flight plan in FS and tell it to be IFR...Is there a way where I can have IFR ATC at all times on all my flights automatically??Thx! April 22, 200422 yr As far as I know, filing a flightplan is the only way to do it. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
April 22, 200422 yr Darn.I asked because I am following the PMDG 737 Tutorials and I was wondering if I have to create a flight plan in FS first and set it to IFR in order to hear the messages from ATC printed in the tutorial or if the messages in the tutorial are just in there to create a sort of "timeline" for the tutorial??Thx!:) Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
April 23, 200422 yr You can always file a flight plan after takeoff if you want to depart VFR and then get "into the system". Otherwise FS is just like the real world--the only way to fly IFR is to file a flight plan.
