April 23, 201214 yr Hi am tring to compare the difference between fs2crew- Airline Pilot Xtreme with fs2crew PMDG 737 Captain Set In airline pilot Xtreme i saw that you could tell the FO to set speed ,heading , even altitude. My point is you could make the FO do more for you than in the PMDG Captain Set . But let me clear something first this is my first time buying fs2crew product an that was the PMDG Captain set . I really like the Airline Pilote Xtreme the only problem is for certain aircraft , like the LEVEL D 767 which i don't have an some other aircraft. I saw they have pmdg737 but next to it it say Fs9 so i don't know if it works for fsx pmdg 737 ngx . That is why i bought the PMDG Captain set. So does anyone know if the airline pilote xtreme works for pmdg 737 ngx ? I want to know before i buy it. An just to let you guys know am buying it because fs2crew pmdg 737 captain set only support different commands not the one i want . Like for example telling the FO to change heading to a certain heading that atc give me . Every time i speak an say " Set speed two, four ,zero " it doesn't do nothing . But in the Airline Pilote Xtreme i saw that it does what you tell it to . April 23, 201214 yr I dont know about the FSCrew NGX, I dont own it, but I do know that you can set altitude, heading, speed etc with FSCrew Maddog edition. It would surprise me a lot of they for some reason removed that functionality. I do infact refuse to believe that Johan Pettersen
April 23, 201214 yr There is no difference, Airline Pilot Xtreme is just a bundle package of the FS2Crew Voice Commander products released up until October 2010, and as such, it does not include the PMDG NGX version of FS2Crew. If you want FS2Crew Voice Commander/Button Control for the NGX, you must purchase it as a stand-alone product. It is VERY good, and allows you to voice control the functions you stated, so maybe there is an issue with your install. I have no problem setting heading, course, speed, and altitudes via voice commands. Shane Gavin
April 23, 201214 yr Author Thankx for the reply Sekstifire but you can only give commands like when you takeoff everything fallows a certain order . Like for example takeoff, after takeoff checklist , decent , approach etc... For each selection you have different commands not the same . For takeoff you can say SELECT HEADING SELECT SELECT LNAV SELECT VNAV SELECT LEVEL CHANGE FLAPS UP SPEED SELECT COMMAND A FLAP ONE FLAPS UP SET SPEED TWO TWO ZERO But once that is done you can give no other commands because the selection changes from takeoff to after takeoff then climb . Every thing just fallow a certain order . If you are having issues, there is a dedicated FS2Crew forum where the developer provides support here at the AVSIM forums. http://forum.avsim.net/forum/212-fs2crew-support-forum/ Shane Gavin
