Were does Flight save ?

Featured Replies

I installed Flight on a new pc, but now it's like I've never done any challenge or mission.

So I thought Flight must save the progress in challenges or missions on the pc.

But I can't find out where.

Does anyone know ?

On my system (Windows 7) it saves my career in folder C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Flight\Players\ACECB2FEA2FE3DF1\Career although frankly I would copy across everything under C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Flight\Players myself. Replace <USER> in this path by your username.

No doubt someone will be along with teh corect location in Win XP if that's what you brequire.

Hi Nutria, welcome to the AVSIM forums.

I have Flight installed on 3 PC’s with Windows 7.

To keep my career in sync. I copy only the career files from the career folder. (There should be 20 career files).

The path Sam pointed is fine; just remember that the Numbers folder (Actually Hex Numbers) varies from user to user.

C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Flight\Players\<Numbers Folder>\Career

Here’s another way to get to that folder in case you use Hidden files and Folders:

%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Flight\Players (<- Copy-paste on address bar)

then navigate to the Numbers Folder -> Career

Keep a backup copy of the entire folder and of career files, just in case.

%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Flight\Players

I really must remember to use that variable in future.
