April 23, 201214 yr Finally got a computer that would run FSX. Problem #1 - After I installed FSX it placed an icon on the desktop that was a representation of the picture on the box. Two days later Windows could not find the icon in the fsx.exe file so it just displayed a generic Windows icon. Clicking on icon FSX still ran normally. I tried finding the missing icon but couldn't. Only icon I could find was a white airplane on a blue blackground that I found in the fsx.exe file. Any idea as to where the orignal icon went? Problem #2 - After a flight, when exiting the program I am not shown the Logbook entry for that flight and give the opportunity to edit it. I could do this in FS9. I remember in FS9 there was a place in general settings where you could turn this feature on or off. I can't find it in FSX. Any help would be appreciated.

If you right click the icon and chose "properties" you can reset the icon... FSX logs automatically (I dislike that but there it is...) - to see it, choose "end flight" and look at pilot records. DJ
April 23, 201214 yr Author I did right click the icon and chose properties - the original icon was not there! The only one I found was the one I described.
