April 24, 201214 yr Commercial Member Shuttle Enterprise is being moved from Washington DC to New York where it will be on permeant display at the Intrepid Air and Space Museum starting in July. Originally planed for Monday but postponed due to poor weather across the North East, tomorrow morning Enterprise will fly over the Statue of Liberty and Intrepid (on the Hudson River) on top of the 747 SCA and land at JFK. My office is at 18th St and the West Side Highway (Hudson River) in Manhattan. The building I work in is absolutely lovely, and more importantly, has floor to celling windows on all floors! I hope to get some nice shots form the top floor as Enterprise takes to the sky one last time. If I get good pictures I will post them here!
