April 24, 201214 yr I just got myself AES and was palying around with it trying to set it up for the NGX. I got everything going good until i noticed the aircraft bouncing on pushback. So i used the option within AES that adjusted the static pitch and static cg heights within the NGX cfg file. So my question is, what effect, if any, does this have on the NGX? Im assuming none, but i just want to be sure. Thanks Adam
April 25, 201214 yr I had a problem with the AES values "sticking", so I manually edited the aircraft.cfg and had no further issues with any NGX performance characteristics. For the PMDG NGX following values should work correct: static_pitch=-0.60 static_cg_height=8.20 Jerry "Wiley" Post KORF
April 25, 201214 yr Author Ok, I changed the values and it all works fine now. What do these changes actually do to the NGX? Anything you can see/ notice? Adam Kaleniak
April 25, 201214 yr Best thing to do with AES is to load the aircraft in to fsx park at an airport that supports aes. go to window mode. open up aes config and run the aircraft setup. then save and exit this will sort the issues guys static_pitch=-0.65 static_cg_height=8.37 gear_system_type=1
